Fees

 

Ipswich Junior Grammar School fees cover the cost of your child’s tuition and an extensive range of curricular and co-curricular activities. Additional costs, such as daily bus travel are charged to your Junior Grammar account.

 

2019 Fees

For full details of our tuition and boarding fees for Australian students, and Permanent Residents of Australia, including our fee payment service and sibling discounts, as well as other charges and payment policy, please view our 2019 Schedule of Fees for Domestic Students.

Tuition and Boarding Fees are charged by the term.  There are four terms per year.  Please note that the payment of all school fees is required by the due date (first day of each term).  Late payment will incur an administration fee of $120.

  • Term 1 Fees payable by 22 January 2019 
    (early payment discount date is 22 January)
  • Term 2 Fees payable by 23 April 2019 
    (early payment discount date is 16 April)
  • Term 3 Fees payable by 15 July 2019 
    (early payment discount date is 8 July)
  • Term 4 Fees payable by 8 October 2018 
    (early payment discount date is 1 October)

A discount of $60 per term on both tuition and boarding fees will apply if payment is received by 4.00pm one week prior to the due date.  Early payment discount dates are outlined above.

International Students

Notice of Withdrawal

 

The School commits resources on the basis of confirmed enrolments. Once a student has been enrolled in the School, it is essential that parents/guardians provide one full term’s notice if they are intending to withdraw a student from the school. If a parent/guardian is intending to withdraw a student, then a full term’s notice must be sent in writing to the Principal & CEO. Failure to do so will result in a full term’s tuition fees being charged in lieu of this notice.

Notice of withdrawal at the end of Term 1 2019 will need to be received by 29 January 2019; end of Term 2 by 23 April 2019; and end of Term 3 by 15 July 2019, to avoid being charged for the next term’s tuition fees.

For students not returning in 2020 – Term 4 Withdrawal:

  • written notice of withdrawal is required by 31 October 2019 otherwise one half-term’s fees will be payable for 2020 up to 31 December 2019.
  • when notice is given after 1 January 2020 for students not returning, one (1) full term’s tuition fees will be payable.

These fees have been ratified by the Board of Trustees at meeting dated 30 October 2018.

Early Education Centre

Application Fee (non-refundable): $110

Cost per day: $92.00 per day

Includes care from 6.30am – 6.00pm, Learning Program, Morning Tea, Lunch and Afternoon Tea.

Child Care Benefit and Rebate may apply. Parents will be required to provide the School with registered Child Care Benefit details if applicable.
