Giving @ Grammar

“An investment in knowledge pays the best interest.” — Benjamin Franklin

Many of the Ipswich Junior Grammar School facilities that exist today were achieved through the philanthropic endeavours and foresight of the wider Ipswich community.

There are several ways to give to support Junior Grammar:

$counter = 0;
  • The Ipswich Girls’ and Junior Grammar Building Fund supports the continued development and maintenance of School buildings, enabling us to maintain our first class learning environments (tax deductible)
  • The Library Fund, supporting the provision of a modern, well-equipped library for student use (tax deductible)
  • Bequests can make a difference that will live on for many years
  • Corporate Sponsorships provide mutually beneficial opportunities to engage with and support our close-knit School community.

Annual Capital Appeal

In 2018, the Ipswich Girls’ and Junior Grammar School Annual Capital Appeal will continue to focus on raising funds to support the much needed restoration of our School’s original, heritage-listed Main Building.

Whilst remaining true to our heritage and traditions we aim to welcome students, parents, visitors and staff to an environment befitting a modern school.

In consultation with its Architects, the Board plans to restore the Main Building in line with its Conservation Management Plan, to incorporate contemporary design and amenities whilst retaining and conserving the building’s historical features.

It is hoped this year’s appeal will enable the immediate commencement of the first stage of restoration and refurbishment work to the Ground floor, including the installation of new floor coverings and improvements to the Reception area.

Your contributions, however great or small, will make a positive, and immediate difference and we thank you for your support.
